Baron Carl, Saint-Émilion
Colour: An intense, glittering purple.
Nose: The complex nose opens on ripe black fruit and chocolate notes, mingled with discreet oak and spice. Very refined.
Palate: Round and full on the palate with lots of jammy black fruit and plenty of body. Excellent length on the fruit, well-rounded with supple tannins on the finish. A harmonious wine that expresses all the typical characteristics of Saint Emilion.
Strip steak, veal chop with mushrooms, lamb shoulder.
